Pigeons Why are pigeons in the city friendlier than pigeons in the suburbs?

Question by Dallaz: Why are pigeons in the city friendlier than pigeons in the suburbs?
In the suburbs pigeons will fly away at the first sight of a human, but in the city you can walk right up to them and they just move out of your way, and don’t get scared. Why is this?

They rely on food which is in close proximity to humans almost all the time so after a little while they are convinced humans will not attack.
