Question by Kaitlynn Joy: How far apart should my parakeets cage bars be?
I want to move my parakeet into a bigger cage because I think he would be happier if he had alittle more space to move around but the bars on the cage are a little less than an inch apart and I dont want to put my parakeet in any danger. Would it be dangerouse to make the switch?

Your parakeet will be perfectly safe depending on its own width. If it is about 1-1.5 inches or wider, your bird will have a 90% chance of being absolutely safe. A bigger cage is healthier.
