I’m assuming that this was once a bird feeder but not 100 per cent certain. No one lives within miles of it now but just across the road there are a few old apple trees and — appears that there was a homestead, cabin or some kind of structure there — once upon a time. Wonder about the whys and whens and wheres …. next time by …. will leave some bird seed.
