Question by deb35802: How do wild birds find birdfeeders?
I put one out and it took almost 2 weeks for birds to find it and start eating.
I was just wondering, how do they find them? Do birds have a sense of smell?

They have a keen sense of smell and are very observant. They also have a good memory. That’s why it is good that once you start feeding them, you never stop, as they will always come back to the same place looking for food. It’s the compassionate thing to do.
