Question by Pilgrim: How can I repel marauding gangs of starlings from my birdfeeders?
They camp on the feeders, chase desired birds away, and defecate all over our deck.

Start by changing your birdfood in your feeder. Switching to safflower seed will discourage them, as they’re not as fond of that.
