All About Birds What are those birds that sing all night and all day?

I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but it’s the only animal section on Yahoo! so here goes:
I live in North Jersey and for the last couple of weeks have been kept wide awake by a loud-mouth bird who begins singing (and screeching) at about 1am and goes continuously through the night. The same songs (and sounds) can be heard all day as well. I think I’ve identified the culprit — because the other birds that hang out in the yards around my house are common and I know their songs — he’s completely black, has a body shape and size similar to a gray dove but his neck is longer. It’s NOT a mockingbird… at least not from the pictures on-line and in my Mom’s bird-books. What is this bird that is plaguing me so?
I think it’s actually a Blue Mockingbird mocking the red-eyed vireo’s song.
