Question by ?: Chrome bird cage?? 10 points so answer quickly?!?
Hi, i was discussing bird cages with my dad. And he siad he could build me a cage. I asked what is the metal? He said Chrome. I am Curious to know if it is safe to build a bird cage made out of chrome? Does chrome have lead, or zinc, or any other toxicicities in it? I am getting the bird soon so i need many answers. Thanks in advance! P.S. Do you like the name Sinbad?

i would not build a cage if i were you. you never no what can be in those things. there is only one kind of safe metal for birds and even some at the stores are harmful becasue of the things they paint them with. i would really consider buying a cage since birds are so sensitive. here is a web to look at it has all saftey hazards : http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?c=15+1912&aid=3 and i personally dont like that name but its up to u i also think that you need to meet the bird and name it somthing to its personallity here are some names though on a web :http://www.birdbytes.com/names.html
