Question by atilier_libre: Do Australian Butcher birds mimic other bird calls and sounds?
I was listening to what I thought was a butcher bird on my back deck, but it not only warbled the butcher bird song, it sang other bird calls too, and some other noises like a dog bark, cat meow, siren. Can pied butcher birds copy other sounds?
