Question by simsam: why is it not recommended buying a bird from Petco (or another big pet store) ?
I’ve read here several times it is not a good idea to buy a bird from a big pet store. Why ?
Where do they get their birds from ?
The main concern is illness/infection then ?

the same reason you wouldn’t get medical advice from walmart. plus petco just SELLS birds and fish they don’t care if they have infections(which is an often occurrence)
